Scope and Content Possible henge monument at Salmor, Ross and Cromarty, Highland The ditch of this possible henge was revealed as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs. The ditch is quite broad and is broken by an entrance causeway on the SE. The ditch of this possible henge is visible as a dark penannular ring in the centre of this aerial photograph. No trace of this possible henge can be seen on the ground. It is situated on sloping ground at the edge of a field to the W of the Cromarty Firth. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
