Scope and Content Green cloth covered album with embossed surface inscribed on front 'Photographs' with black leather spine and corners. Purchased at 'Now and Then Antiques', West Crosscauseway, Edinburgh, 7/6/89. All aerial phootgraphs (buildings, aeroplanes and boats) perhaps by Sir Allan Cobham (of Cobham's Flying Circus, fl. 1920's) or Captain Fresson. Includes aerial photographs showing aeroplanes, boats, buildings e.g. Felixstowe Flying Boat, c.1917, used for anti-submarine work, and other planes and seaplanes; Auchmore House, Killin; steamers; cathedrals; the Tay Bridge; "football on Glasgow Green"; Gosford House; Daniel Stewart's College and many more.
