Scope and Content Cragganmore-Ballindalloch Distillery, Banffshire This Scotch malt whisky distillery was founded by John Smith, formerly lessee of Glenfarclas Distillery. It was rebuilt in 1902, and enlarged in 1964. This view shows the distillery from the south west. The building behind the casks on the left was the maltings, closed in 1968, which were part of the 1902 rebuilding. The whisky from this distillery is regarded by connoisseurs as particularly fine.
