Scope and Content Suspension footbridge, Aberlour, Morayshire This is a long wire-rope suspension footbridge made by James Abernethy and Co, of the Ferryhill Foundry, Aberdeen. This view shows the bridge from the north west. The light lattice-girder pylons and deck sides are typical of the period. This bridge resembles several others by the same maker over the River Dee, but has a considerably longer span than those. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
