Scope and Content Symbol stone known as Clach Ard at Tote, Isle of Skye, Highland This stone is carved with three Pictish symbols and is now rather weathered. It stands at the roadside but was previously used as a door jamb built into the shoemaker's house at Tote. It was discovered there around 1880. The stone has three symbols incised on its southern face. At the top is a crescent and V-rod though only a little of its decoration cane still be seen. Below this is a vertical double-disc and Z-rod and the remains of a mirror-and-comb. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
