Scope and Content Part of Wilton Mills, Hawick, Roxburghshire The Wilton Mills of Dicksons and Laings was on of the largest and oldest of the Hawick textile mills By the time this photograph was taken the production of textiles had ceased, and the mills were in multiple occupation. This view shows part of the office range. The building in the centre probably dates from the mid 19th century expansion of the mills, and the extension on the right is later.
