Scope and Content Den Burn Works, Brechin, Angus This is an imposing example of a large integrated linen works, with a four-storey front block, with a corner water tower, and a range of single-storey weaving sheds at the rear. This view shows the front block with its water tower in the centre, with the weaving sheds and boiler-house chimney to the left. This mill is modelled on contemporary Dundee examples, though it is smaller in scale than most. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
