Scope and Content Hard-backed album covered in dark blue cloth textured as leather. Both front and back covers have simple embossed line surround and the front is titled in gold "Photographs by G.W.Wilson & Co." below a pasted hand-written label "Edinburgh, Roslin, Abbotsford, Melrose, Peebles, Dunbar, North Berwick, Portobello...end of Book." It contains 75 folded paper pages slotted to take uniform size photographs on both sides (numbered in pencil 151). 350 x 300 cm. The title page has a pencil Index with page numbers, but the photographs do not always conform. Most of the slots are empty. It includes photographs by George Washington Wilson, as well as other photographers like John Patrick and James Valentine.
