Scope and Content Four grey pages from a cord-bound photograph album (190 x 275 mm), thirteen cream, blue, white and pink pages from a gilt edged autograph album (215 x 165 mm), an envelope containing small photographs and a few loose photographs, three of them portraits - all in a 1974 card calendar folder. Mostly pictures from a cruise in 1929 on the ship "Dunara Castle" to the Hebrides and Western Isles, belonging to the mother of T A Parkes (who gave these to NTS for disposal) - she probably came from the West of Scotland (Glasgow portrait photographers c.1900-10). Pictures show the ship, passengers, crew and scenes of places they visited including the MacLeod of MacLeod, and fisher girls in Scalpay. There is a picture of Gillespie Manse, Biggar and a miniature horseshoe "made by the blacksmith at the Clachan at the Glasgow Exhibition, 1938."
