Scope and Content Architect's perspective of Rosehaugh House, near Avoch, Highland Rosehaugh House was built in 1798 for Sir Roderick Mackenzie of Scatwell. It was altered twice for the Fletcher family: in 1872 by Alexander Ross; and in 1898-1903, by William Flockhart, in French Renaissance style. It was demolished in 1959. This perspective of the remodelled house was drawn by the architect, William Flockhart, and published in 'The Builder' in 1893. The Rosehaugh Estate was purchased in 1864 by James Fletcher.
