Scope and Content Rear of Poyntzfield, near Jemimaville, Highland Poyntzfield was built in 1757 for Sir George Gun Munro and named after his wife, Charlotte Poyntz. It was extended in 1790. The two-storeyed wing (right) forms one arm of the house's U-shaped ground-plan. An octagonal tower projects from the back of the rear-block (left). Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
