Scope and Content 1910 photograph of Novar House, Highland Novar House was built in 1720 and extended and altered over the next two centuries. The interior contains many 18th-century features. This photograph was taken in 1910. The house has a U-shaped ground-plan with service wings (right and unseen to the left) enclosing a rear courtyard. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
