Scope and Content Billiards room, ground-floor, Ardross Castle, Highland Ardross Castle was built in its present form as a Victorian Scots Baronial mansion in 1880-1 by Alexander Ross incorporating parts of an earlier house. This is the billiard room. The table and light-fitting survive. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
