Scope and Content 19th century drawing of Kinghorn Burgh School, Pettycur Road, Kinghorn, Fife Kinghorn Burgh School was built in 1829 to designs by Thomas Hamilton and extended at the rear in 1874. This shows the school as it was in the 19th century. The original building had a T-shaped ground plan with the large octagonal tower forming the upright. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
