Scope and Content Post closure view of Newburgh Station, Newburgh Newburgh Station was opened by the then Edinburgh and North Railway on 18 May, 1848. It closed to passengers on 19 September, 1955. This shows the main building and associated signal box from the east, some time after the station had closed. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
