Scope and Content Front of town hall, west range Pittenweem Priory, Pittenweem, Fife Pittenweem Priory was founded in the 13th century when Augustinian priors moved to the site from the Isle of May. The surviving buildings, probably dating from the 15th century, have been substantially altered and restored since the Middle Ages. A town hall replaced the west range's south end (right) in 1821. Its porch was added in the late 19th century. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
