Scope and Content Parish Manse ('Glebelands'), Chapel Yard, Falkland, Fife The Parish Manse was built in 1804-7 by Thomas Barclay, almost half a century before the parish church it served was rebuilt. Though a simple two-storey building, the manse's scale, and its setting in a walled garden underlines the social status of the minister who lived there. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
