Scope and Content Buzzart Dikes, deer park, Perth and Kinross Buzzart Dikes is an earthwork which encloses an area of 86 hectares on Middleton Muir. It is all that remains of a medieval deer park. The earthwork comprises a bank, up to 1.4m high, and internal ditch, up to 1.2m deep, and is visible in this aerial photograph. Deer parks date to the medieval period and were hunting reserves where settlement and other activities were excluded. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
