Scope and Content Two volumes with hard covers of full black morocco, gilt edged fronts and backs and gilt lined spines. Each has 37 gilt edged card pages and watered silk end papers printed (front) 'A Duthie, Glasgow' and (back) W J&S'. Volume I titled: 'Photographs of old Scottish Baronial houses. Collected 1886-1894' in manuscript, the same hand as used to title all the pages - possibly by Andrew Duthie's photographic and fine art agency. Matt prints in black and white of professional photographs taken mostly in the lowlands from c.1870 (cf Fleming collection)
