Scope and Content Dining room, Shell House, The Lochs, Ceres, Fife The Shell House was probably built in the 18th century and owes its modern name to the shell garden, now demolished. This picture was taken in 1987, before the contents were cleared. Many of objects dating from the 1900s to the 1930s have been preserved in the collections of North East Fife Museum Service.
