Scope and Content Purple leather binding, embossed on front and back with large ornate oval frames containing floral motifs; the spine has a continuous raised tracery-like pattern of leaves, stems and flowers with gilt inscription 'Album'. Front, back and spine are gold lined and the pages gilt edged. The yellow end papers have gold and green diagonal tracery patterns of leaves and flowers. Collection of steel engraved vignettes, three coloured Baxter prints, lithographs and postcards dating from c.1850 onwards. Some pages removed, some unused, some coloured and some embossed; the first 18 pages filled with views of Warwickshire, many more of Scottish beauty spots including several postcards of Haddington.
