Scope and Content PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM 7: CAMARA CLUB ALBUM Inscribed: (2nd page) ‘The 'Camara Club' Interchangeable photo scrap album with movable title-slips. No trimming or mounting required’. Inscribed: (back cover) ‘M.W. & Co. LTD. No. 5451 LONDON’ (c.1920.). Amateur scrap album, tan leather with 50 snapshot views of castles, bridges, churches, ships, trains, towns and topographic photographs. The photographer is not identified and the majority of the photographs are undated with the dated ones ranging from 1900 – 1922. The photographs include views of Rosyth Castle, Borthwick Castle, Crichton Castle, Greenknowe Tower, Dalmeny Parish Church, Dunfermline Abbey, Gylen Castle, Elgin Cathedral, Charlestown Harbour, Pittencrieff House, Niddry Castle, Stromness harbour, the Clyde, Whiteinch with a steamship; a large crane at Finnieston Quay; the first engine over the Forth Bridge; Banavie with steamer on the dock and a train, Invervack holidays, Struan 1920, the site of Balmore, Morar 1921 with a woman two girls and a boy; Oban 1922 with the same woman and two girls. All the images have been digitised.
