Scope and Content West range and sunken cattle-court, Greenside Farm, Fife Greenside Farm was begun in the early 19th century and is an example of a home farm - the main farm of an estate. These were common in Fife because the county contained many small estates. The west range originally contained a house (near left). The cattle-court (right) is unusual because of its sunken floor-level and underground shelters beneath the courtyard. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
