Scope and Content First-floor balcony inside Carnegie Centre, Dunfermline, Fife The Carnegie Centre was built in 1901-5 by Hippolyte J Blanc of Edinburgh as a sports centre and swimming pool. It was modified and extended by James Parr and Partners in 1979-84. This is the first-floor balcony. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
