Scope and Content St Leonard's Church, Dunfermline, Fife St Leonard's Church was built in 1903-4 by P MacGregor Chalmers in a style influenced by Scottish early Christian architecture. Inside is a wealth of decorative artwork and craftsmanship dating from the first part of the 20th century. The church is dominated by the round tower at its east end. It is of a type associated with early Christian structures in Ireland and Scotland and resembles an early medieval example at Brechin Cathedral. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
