Scope and Content Granary, Cupar Station, Cupar, Fife Cupar Station was probably built by David Bell of Edinburgh. It was opened in 1847 by Edinburgh Northern Railway Company and was on the Inverkeithing-Dundee route. This four-storeyed granary (left) was used to store grain before it was shipped out by rail. Carts would be unloaded under the arches. Timber to the right covers the arches of coal staithes for storing coal. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
