Scope and Content 443-449 Sailor's Walk from Kirkcaldy Harbour, Kirkcaldy, Fife 443-449 Sailor's Walk was built in the 17th century as two houses, each of T-shaped plan. They were extensively repaired in 1954-9 under National Trust ownership. Now with white harling and red pantiles, the two 17th-century houses stand out from their later neighbours. The harbour originated in the 16th century. It was extended in the 19th and 20th centuries for the linoleum trade. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
