Scope and Content County Buildings, St Catherine Street, Cupar, Fife Cupar County Buildings, originally the County Rooms, was built in about 1812-17 by Robert Hutchison, probably to designs by James Gillespie (Graham). The façade appears to have been influenced by the work of Robert Adam in Edinburgh's New Town where similar designs were used as the centre-pieces of terraces. Here, however, the building does not occupy a central position. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
