Scope and Content Bellfield House, Millgate, Cupar, Fife Bellfield House was built around 1810. It is one of the several late Georgian houses on Millgate. The porch is built in Roman Doric style. The west block (left) was added in around 1830. Roman Doric is one of the mathematically defined architectural styles or Orders used by the Ancient Greeks and Romans during the Classical period and rediscovered by architects during the Renaissance.
