Scope and Content View from the cliff-top of the fort on Dun Channa, Canna This fort occupies a coastal stack at the western tip of Canna. An impressive drystone wall defends the landward side of the stack, where access is only possible by a narrow spine of outcrop. The fort on Dun Channa, a low stack on the shore at the west end of Canna. A survey of Canna and Sanday was undertaken by the Royal Commission to record all the archaeological sites and monuments and the landscape within which they lie.
