Scope and Content Bridge over River Ericht at Haughs of Drimmie, Perthshire The Bridge at Haughs of Drimmie was built around 1830 and is one of a small group of wrought-iron framed bridges of suspension type. It was probably designed by John Justice (Junior) of Dundee, based on his father's bridge at Kirkton of Glenisla. Diagonal stays from the pylons support the deck. Wrought-iron stabilisers connect the stays to each other, forming a triangular pattern. The deck has independent hand-rails and bracing provided by two suspension rods underneath.
