Scope and Content Post-closure aerial view of Rubislaw Quarry, Aberdeen Rubislaw Quarry was one of the local quarries supplying granite for buildings in Aberdeen and around the world. DIGITAL IMAGES Employing 2,700 at its peak in 1898, the Aberdeen granite industry exported 70,000 tons worldwide every year.
