Scope and Content Dairy churn inside Guisachan, Tomich, Highland The ornamental dairy at Guisachan in Tomich was probably built around 1870 during the time the Guisachan estate belonged to Dudley Marjoribanks, afterwards Baron Tweedmouth of Edington. Milk is placed inside the churn. When the handle is turned, gears spin a beater which churns the milk, turning it into butter. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
