Scope and Content First-floor plan of dairy at Guisachan, Tomich, Highland The ornamental dairy at Guisachan in Tomich was probably built around 1870 during the time the Guisachan estate belonged to Dudley Marjoribanks, afterwards Baron Tweedmouth of Edington. The milk-room, to the right, takes up both levels of the building. A grille in the middle of its high ceiling leads to the flêche ventilator, and three stained-glass clerestory windows provide extra light. The bothy, to the left, was used as a store.
