Scope and Content Cross-slab from Aldbar Chapel, Angus This cross-slab originally came from Aldbar Chapel. It is now on display in Brechin Cathedral with other carved stones from the area. The stone is carved in relief on both sides. This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. This side is carved with a fine, interlace-filled cross with a ring of glory behind it. There are two clerics, one below each arm. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
