Scope and Content Cross from Barochan, Paisley Abbey, Renfrew This cross is originally known to have been S of Mill of Barochan. In the 19th century it was moved to a knoll opposite Corsliehill. It now stands in the SW corner of the nave of Paisley Abbey. This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. It shows of face and a side of the ring-headed cross. Below the cross are two decorative whorls with a group of four figures between them Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
