Scope and Content Symbol stone at Abdie Churchyard, Lindores, Fife This symbol stone stands in the morthouse of Abdie Kirk. It originally stood on Kaim Hill, to the N of Lindores. It was later built into a wall and was used as a sundial. This is a drawing of the stone which first appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. It has three symbols on it. These are a triple-disc, a crescent and V-rod, and a mirror, which is carved on the side. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
