Scope and Content Henge monuments at Forteviot, Perth and Kinross The ditches of several circular enclosures, including two henges, were discovered as cropmarks on oblique aerial photographs. One henge has a pair of broad, banana-shaped ditches and two entrances, while the other has a broad ditch and only one entrance. This is an aerial view of the cropmarks and was taken from the NE. The single-entrance henge is not well-defined, but lies beside a small penannular ring-ditch in the top left corner. The other henge is below them at the edge of the field. Two henges form part of a complex of cropmarks and are located in a field on a gravel terrace to the east of the Water of May. The field has been cultivated and the henges have been ploughed flat.
