Scope and Content Symbol stone known as Inverurie 3 at Inverurie, Aberdeenshire This symbol stone is at Inverurie. In was found built into the walls of a churchyard along with three other symbol stones. All four are now in the cemetery at the Bass of Inverurie. They are to along to the left of the gate. This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. The main symbol seen here is a double-disc and Z-rod. Above is the remains of what may be a disc. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
