Scope and Content Symbol stone at Bruceton, Perth and Kinross This symbol stone stands in a field at Bruceton Farm, near Alyth. It is a natural slab. Around 1840, several stone coffins were dug up 20 m NE of the stone. This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. Incised on the SSE face is and arch, which is above a Pictish Beast. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
