Scope and Content Symbol stone known as Kintore 3 at Kintore Churchyard, Kintore, Aberdeenshire This stone was originally found in the Castle Hill at Kintore. It is slightly damaged, though the symbols are still clear and almost complete. The stone is now in the Royal Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh. This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. The symbols are a double-crescent, decorated with arcs, and a tuning-fork.
