Scope and Content Cross-slab known as Meigle 2 at Meigle, Perth and Kinross This cross-slab is now in Meigle Museum. The projections on the sides of the stone are unique and it has been suggested that the cross slotted into the wall. Several other carved stones were found in the area. This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. The central figure, surrounded by lions, is thought to be Daniel. Above are a number of horsemen, and below a centaur and a dragon. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
