Scope and Content Symbol stone known as Aberlemno 3 at Aberlemno, Angus Aberlemno 3 stands at the side of the road but it may be moved to help preserve it. It is carved on both sides with a relief cross on the W face and symbols on the E. This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. It shows the cross, carved in relief. It is ring headed and decorated with interlace. An angel stands on either side of the shaft. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
