Scope and Content Cross-slab known as Glamis 2 at Glamis, Angus Glamis 2 stands in the garden of the manse. It is a Class I symbol stone to which the cross was added at a later date. There are cup-marks as the base. The stone is the most impressive carved of the stones at Glamis. ' This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. It shows the cross on the W face. The shaft is surrounded by a deer's head, triple disc, two men fighting and a cauldron with legs in it. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
