Scope and Content Cross-slab at Edderton, Ross and Cromarty, Highland This cross-slab now stands near the entrance inside the graveyard of the old church at Edderton. Both sides have been carved in high relief. This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. The E side has a cross set on a curved frame with a horse and rider inside. Below are two further horsemen. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
