Scope and Content Filling-store at Knockdhu, Knock, Banffshire Knockdhu Distillery was built in 1893 and is an example of a purpose-built plant. Once the whisky has been distilled to the required strength, it is pumped into the spirit-receiver (back right) in the filling-store and then transferred to casks.
