Scope and Content Symbol stone known as Rhynie 3 at Rhynie Square, Aberdeenshire This symbol stone is one of two that can be seen in an enclosure in Rhynie Square. The stones are very weathered and only part of the original carvings can be seen. This is a view of the stone. Parts of two symbols can be seen. Most prominent is an arch, made up from five parallel arcs. Above this can be seen a pair of feet. These are all that remain of a figure walking from right to left with a spear and shield.
