Scope and Content Symbol stone known as Rhynie 2 at Rhynie Square, Aberdeenshire This symbol stone is one of two that can be seen in an enclosure in Rhynie Square. The stones are very weathered and only part of the original carvings can be seen. This is a view of the stone. It originally had two symbols on it. These were a double-disc and Z-rod and a crescent and V-rod. Both were rather plain. The top of the stone is missing. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
