Scope and Content Symbol stone known as Rhynie 8 at Rhynie Old Churchyard, Rhynie, Aberdeenshire Rhynie 8 is one of three symbol stones now within the kirkyard, and one of eight found in the overall area. These may have been centred on the Craw Stane. It was found within a nearby field. The stone has been trimmed though three symbols can still be seen. There is a complete Pictish beast, a comb and part of a plain vertical ogee. The beast is similar to the one on the Craw Stane and may have been carved by the same people.
