Scope and Content Symbol stone at Broomend of Crichie, Aberdeenshire This stone stands at the centre of a henge about one mile S of Inverurie. It was originally found to the E of its present location. The symbols are carved on the S face. This is a view of the stone. It is carved with two symbols. At the top is a fine example of a Pictish Beast facing right. It is decorated with scroll-work. Below is a clear crescent-and-V-rod. This is also decorated. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
